Tutoring appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled in a variety of ways. It is preferred that students message their tutors through the chat feature in the Penji scheduling app to cancel or reschedule sessions. Penji can be accessed via the Tutoring-SSTC card in the myHGTC portal. Those who are not familiar with Penji  are welcome to call the SSTC at (843) 349-7872 during regular business hours to cancel or send an email to sstc@hgtc.edu. The tutoring center requests that students provide at least a two hour notice of cancellation or the session will be counted as an absence.
