Once you're there, click the "Reputable Websites" tab. Then, click on the first link, Taxonomy - National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), which will open this site:

You can find your bacterium's taxonomy or lineage with the NCBI. Once you have the lineage, you can use Bergey's Manual of Systematic Bacteriology to learn more about your bacterium. You may access Bergey's online eBook under the "eBooks" tab of the LibGuide.
