You can find information on your bacterium by visiting one of the LibGuides created for BIO 225:
Once you're there, click the "Reputable Websites" tab. Then, click on the first link, National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), which will open this site:
You can find your bacterium's taxonomy or lineage with the NCBI. Once you have the lineage, you can use one of the volumes of Bergey's Manual of Systematic Bacteriology to learn more about your bacterium. These books are located in front of the Grand Strand Campus Library's Reference Desk. Ask the librarian for assistance.
You won't be able to take the book with you, but you can make copies of the information you find.
