If you are searching for a particular person, then you could search the database called "Biography in Context."  This database has several different search options for finding information on people including name, occupation, birth place, nationality, and death place.

You could also search HGTC's library catalog for a biography on a particular person by doing a "Subject" search with the person's name.  This will include works written by him/her and works about him/her.  This can also be done in the database called Ebsco eBook Collection where you will find full text, scholarly books online.

Depending on the person you are searching for, you could also use the Current Biography Yearbook located in the reference section of the library.  This series dates back to 1969 on the Conway campus and 1997 on the Grand Strand and Georgetown campuses.
